TWZ Global

Built to the requirement, not adapted after.

When an off-the-shelf product doesn't fit, TWZ works with overseas manufacturers to customise or develop one that does, and coordinates everything needed for it to be used in Malaysia.

Why OEM

When the right product doesn't exist yet

Operational requirements are specific: the climate, the user, the mission and the standards all shape what a piece of equipment needs to be. Catalogue products rarely match exactly.

TWZ identifies overseas manufacturers with the right capability, agrees the customisation with them, and coordinates prototyping, testing, certification and production so the delivered product matches the requirement it was built for.

The OEM process

From user requirement to delivery

Steps marked in orange are where the Malaysian requirement is built into the product.
  1. User requirement

What the end user needs the equipment to do, and in what conditions.

  2. Technical specification

Turning the requirement into measurable, testable specifications.

  3. Manufacturer identification

Finding overseas manufacturers capable of producing to that specification.

  4. OEM & customisation

Agreeing design changes, materials, branding and production terms.

  5. Prototype

Producing samples for evaluation against the specification.

  6. Testing

Coordinating testing and user evaluation, and feeding results back.

  7. Certification & compliance

Coordinating the certification and documentation the requirement calls for.

  8. Production

Overseeing production, quality checks and scheduling.

  9. Delivery

Logistics, handover, documentation and after-delivery support.

Localisation

What localisation covers

Specification

Adapting dimensions, materials, configurations and features to local use and conditions.

Documentation

Manuals, technical files and training material prepared for Malaysian users and evaluators.

Certification & testing

Coordinating the testing and certification steps a requirement calls for.

Compliance

Aligning with applicable regulations, standards and procurement requirements.

Branding & identification

Markings, insignia and identification applied as the end user specifies.

Support

Spares, maintenance coordination and local support arrangements planned from the start.

TWZ coordinates certification and testing through the relevant bodies and partners. Certification held by a product or manufacturer is stated only where it has been verified.
